The Subnado Sea Scooter is a compact, portable underwater propulsion device designed for snorkeling, diving, and other water activities. Our professional guided tours depart from the beach front located in the quaint and remarkably beautiful  Puako Bay Ocean Front. Once you've checked in online for your tour our friendly staff will email you specific directions and a detailed map.

Hawaii Snorkel Scooter Co. provides masks, fins and scooters. Our guides will bring all safety equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure.

When you arrive for your morning adventure your guide will show you around the bay front area. Next you will get you set up with your mask, fins and scooter. A safety briefing will be provided on the operation of the snorkel scooters along with a fun informative site and creature lesson.

Now for the part you've been anxiously awaiting....THE SNORKEL.

Once in the water your guide will get you all dialed in with your gear. We head out to a shallow area where all guest will get the opportunity to practice with their scooter in water shallow enough that you can stand up in. Once all guests are comfortable away the tour goes!

Our guided tours are designed for anyone who is comfortable in the water. You do not need to be a professional swimmer or a seasoned snorkler. In fact many of our guests have never snorkled before! If you can comfortably maintain yourself in the water then we have a fantastic adventure waiting for you. 

We do ask that guests be a minimum age of 8, however if you have a born fish on your hands then please give us a call to discuss. 

We can guarantee you yellow fish 🐠. You actually never know what the ocean will bring. Many mornings we are very fortunate to encounter our friend the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. There are also visits from Spotted Eagle Rays, Manta Rays and even on the rare occasion Hawaiian Monk Seals. We frequently see the Hawaiian State Fish, the humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, yellow tangs, puffer fish, moorish idols, sea cucumbers, starfish, urchins, and so much more. Your guide will be your in water ocean encyclopedia.
